PANO - On June 20th, State President Tran Dai Quang, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Dinh The Huynh, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Information and Education Commission Vo Van Thuong, and other senior leaders of the Party and State sent bouquets of flowers to the People Army's Newspaper (PAN) on the occasion of the 91st anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21st 1925).

Meanwhile, representatives of ministries, sectors, and units inside and outside the army such as the Party Central Committee Office, the Government's Cipher Board, the General Department of Logistics, the Hanoi Capital Command, the National Defense Academy, Dong Bac Corporation, the Signal Corps, the Academy of Journalism and Communication, among others visited to congratulate PAN's reporters and journalists.
The guests expressed thanks to the newspaper for well reflecting matters of socio-political life, promptly providing information related to activities of the ministries, sectors, and units. They also asked them to continue collaborating with these units in disseminating their functions and missions as well as fulfilling political tasks assigned by the Party, State, Army and people.
The same day, Lt. Gen. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People's Army visited and congratulated the Party Central Committee’s Information and Education Commission, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists Association, the Vietnam News Agency, the Nhan Dan (People) Daily, the Vietnam Television (VTV) and the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) on the occasion of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
On behalf of the Ministry of National Defense, General Nghia congratulated all officials and staffs of the press agencies and thanked them for their timely encouragement to the troops in implementing training and combat readiness missions as well as production activities.
General Nghia also expected more cooperation between the Party Central Committee’s Information and Education Commission and press agencies to effectively disseminate the army's mission in protecting national sovereignty and maintaining political security and social order in the time to come.
