PANO – Vietnam Youth Volunteers’ Association on the morning of December 11th held its third congress in Hanoi (tenure 2015-2019), celebrating the 10th founding anniversary (2004), and receiving the First-class Labor Order. The congress was attended by leaders of the Party, State and people's armed forces heroes, heroes of labor, heroic Vietnamese mothers, leaders of ministries and socio-political organizations.

After 10 years of establishment, the association has admitted around 370 thousand members. It also tried its best to play the role of historical witness and protector of the rights and policies for its members, and promote the "Comradeship" movement in different forms.

At the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam presented the First-class Labor Order to the association as the Party and State’s recognition for the achievements of youth volunteers in national construction and defense. On behalf of the government, the official agreed with the five major action programs set forth in the third tenure and committed to direct relevant ministries and agencies to work with the association to effectively implement its resolution.

Earlier, the association elected the executive committee, the presidium, and chairman Nguyen Anh Lien, in its third congress.
