The Trans-Vietnam Cycle for the Environment 2011, “Youth’s voices: Protecting Environment”, will start off on July 13th in Hanoi by Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE), Actions for Environment Organization (AFEO) and Cycling for the Environment Club (C4E).
The annual activity, first launched in 2008, aims to raise voices of Vietnamese youngsters in protecting the environment.
Accordingly, the team will go through 18 cities and provinces. The HCMC cycling team departed from HCMC on July 10th and will meet the Hanoi Cycling team in Hue City on July 27th.
During the long journey, the participants will hold interesting and meaningful activities in cities and provinces they go through and have exchanges with local people.
On the previous journey, the activity attracted the participation of youths and students nationwide.
