The defense minister emphasized the need for the provincial authorities to continue disseminating information to raise the awareness of Party members, staff, and local people of the tasks related to protecting the Fatherland. The Party committees and authorities at all levels should continue to develop specific plans according to their sectors and functions, contribute to solving issues from the grassroots level, and address non-traditional security threats.

General Phan Van Giang emphasized the importance of improving the leadership capability and combat strength of Party organizations and the operational effectiveness of the political system, building the people's heart posture, combining the whole-people defense posture and the people's security posture.

Furthermore, General Phan Van Giang asked the provincial leadership to prioritize socio-economic development that is closely linked with national defense and security assurance. He suggested combining economic growth and defensive area building to enhance the potential for protecting the Fatherland.

In addition, the province should promote the role of its cultural, historical, and traditional identities during its development and maintain good foreign relations while collaborating with the authorities, armed forces, and local people of Cambodia to build a peaceful, friendly, cooperative, and stable border.

Regarding the proposals of the province, General Phan Van Giang noted and affirmed that he would report to the Steering Committee for the project, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense to advise and propose to the Party Central Committee to decide. He expressed his belief that the Party committee, government, military, and people of Tay Ninh province would work together, unite, promote their heroic traditions, and strive to overcome all difficulties in building a firm defensive area, contributing to meeting the requirements of the national construction and defense missions in the new situation.
