NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and a high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese NA lay flowers at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument.

At this place, from July 14, 1921 to June 1923, President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked as a photographer under the name Nguyen Ai Quoc. In 1987, when the house on Compoint ally, where President Ho Chi Minh lived, was torn down, the Vietnamese Embassy in France asked the city of Montreuil to preserve all exhibits related to President Ho Chi Minh. In 1988, these exhibits were collected and displayed at the Museum of Contemporary History until 1995.

During a meeting with the city's Mayor, Patrice Bessac, former Mayor Jean-Pierre Archambault, and several leaders of the Montreuil city, NA Chairwoman Ngan thanked the city's authorities and staff of the Museum for preserving memorabilia of President Ho Chi Minh, as well as others images and documents about the struggle of the French working class. These exhibits have contributed to educating young generations of the good tradition and international solidarity, she stressed.
