More than 200 kids with visual impairment have shown their admiration for naval troops in their moving letters to them in a writing contest recently launched by Saigontourist, a travel service company.

The information was revealed on September 27th by the company at the 11th “Lighting up trust” program with the participation of 600 kids with visual impairment from 10 schools and "Warm Houses" in Ho Chi Minh City and Southeastern provinces.
Under this year’s program, themed “Lighting up trust with seas and islands”, these ill-fated kids enjoyed the sea and exchanged with naval troops of Brigade 171.The exchange was a driving force for those kids to overcome their defects to integrate into society.
Regarding letters from the kids, Lieutenant Commander Pham Ngoc Quy, Head of the Information and Training Board of Brigade 171 said they were touched reading them which are about kids’ thinking of naval troops and love for national seas and islands. The naval officer held that the letters are an encouragement for them to firmly defend national seas and islands.
