Ha Nam’s NA deputies review task performance
PANO - Ha Nam province’s delegation of deputies of the 14th National Assembly held a meeting on March 16 to review its task implementation during the 2016-2021 term.
The event was chaired by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of Ha Nam’s NA deputy delegation Le Thi Thanh Thuy and attended by General Ngo Xuan Lich, Defense Minister and a NA deputy of Ha Nam province and other NA deputies of the province in the 2016-2021 term.
Reports delivered at the meeting revealed that in the current term the NA deputies of the province worked in line with the Law on Organization of the National Assembly, the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly, and other regulations. Particularly, the NA deputies of the province have demonstrated their absolute loyalty to the Party, nation, and people and tried their best to fulfill all of their assigned missions.
During the term, NA deputies of the province held several meetings with local voters to collect opinions for the building of different draft laws and made constructive recommendations to important issues of the nation. Reports affirmed that the deputies from the province of the 14th National Assembly contributed positively to local socio-economic development and consolidation of local voters’ trust in the leadership of the Party, management of the Government, and role of the NA in political life.
At the event, voters also pointed out the shortcomings of Ha Nam province’s NA deputy delegation in performing their core functions of law-making and supervision during the 2016-21 term as well as in reflecting local people’s thoughts and aspirations to the NA.
The NA deputies of the province totally acknowledged the voter’s opinions and promised to overcome the weaknesses so as to raise the effectiveness and efficiency of their task performance in the coming time. Particularly, all the NA deputies determined to always observe the constitutional principle of the Party’s leadership while listening to and respecting voters’ opinions and promoting close relations with voters. They should also develop new methods and channels to quickly grasp issues of public concern in the province and effectively reflect local people’s thoughts and aspirations to the NA.
