The Thang Long Imperial Citadel is a magnificent architectural work, constructed and renovated by various dynasties throughout history, leaving behind unique architectural imprints and millions of precious artifacts.
Prior to this, the group of young overseas Vietnamese also visited the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (the Temple of Literature - Imperial Academy) historical-cultural site. At Vietnam's first university, the young expats learned about the tradition of filial piety, respect for teachers, and the country's culture and history. Lai Khanh Vy, a young overseas Vietnamese from Bulgaria, said that this was her second visit to this ancient historical site in the past 10 years. "I feel very happy. The Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam remains unchanged in my memory from 10 years ago, very peaceful. The tour guides have shared a lot of interesting and easy-to-understand information about this historical relic," Lai Khanh Vy said.
The visits to these two places provided young overseas Vietnamese with authentic and fascinating knowledge and experiences about Vietnam's history, helping them understand more about the process of preserving, building, and developing the nation, thereby fostering a stronger attachment and love for their homeland and roots.
Below are some images of the young overseas Vietnamese visiting the Temple of Literature and the Thang Long Imperial Citadel historical site.
