Vietnam Summer Camp 2019 draws the participation of numerous OV youths.

The program is to realize Politburo’s latest resolution, directive, and conclusion on overseas Vietnamese affairs in the new situation.

The Vietnam Summer Camp 2023 will gather nearly 120 outstanding OV youths and students from over 20 countries worldwide.

This year’s camp is scheduled to take place in 10 localities, namely Hanoi, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang.

The opening ceremony will be held in the capital city of Hanoi and the closing ceremony will take place in the Central city of Da Nang.

During the camp, participants will have a chance to visit and learn about culture, history and traditions of the country. They will participate in gratitude and memorial activities, exchange with local youths, take part in charity programs and “Young talent of Vietnamese” contest, and join a ceremony to honor young OVs with excellent achievements in study, sports, and community activities, among others.

Held annually since 2004 (hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic), the camp has brought thousands of outstanding OV youngsters aged 16-24 in various fields to visit their motherland.

Through such a program, young OVs learn more about the motherland, love their homeland more and show higher responsibility for national development. Attentively, many participants have had practical deeds, carried out projects and plans to directly contribute to the OV community abroad or sought opportunities to return to the Fatherland to work, study and devote.
