The event attracted more than 200 on-site participants, including representatives of leading technology corporations such as OpenAI, FPT, CMC, Rikkei and Digital Wallet, along with prominent professors and AI experts. The program was also livestreamed via Zoom, drawing a large remote audience.
A total of 32 teams registered for the competition and competed through three rounds, with the eight strongest advancing to the final held on December 13.
A technological highlight of this year’s hackathon was the participation of FPT as the Official Technology Partner. Through FPT AI Factory, the company provided teams with access to its advanced AI supercomputing infrastructure in Japan, one of the most sophisticated systems in the region, powered by NVIDIA H200 GPUs. The powerful computing platform enabled teams to significantly shorten model training time and turn complex generative AI ideas into reality, underscoring Vietnamese expertise and creativity in the global AI era.
OpenAI also joined the event as an AI sponsor.
The championship was awarded to Team MiTa, while Team Revenue Is King took second prize and Team Iruka Education secured third place. An additional award went to Team W・H・O.
