The second stage of this stele house started in May 2022. In this stage, the house’s gate, the path leading to the house, and the wall surrounding the house were erected at a cost of VND 235 million which was funded by the Vietnam Border Guard Command, the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command, and the Party Committee and People’s Committee of Ea Sup district.
The first stage of this project was completed by the Dak Lak provincial Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs and handed over earlier. The first stage included the building of the stele house, road, and yard on the total area of 400 sq.m.
The stele house commemorates eight soldiers who laid down their lives in the national Southwestern border protection war and in the national border security and territorial sovereignty protection cause.
This holds important meaning, demonstrating the deep gratitude of the province’s all-level party committees, authorities, people, and border troops to the noble sacrifice of fallen troops in the cause of Fatherland building and protection.
