Youth union members admission ceremony held at border marker

PANO - The Youth Union Chapter of Ia Rve commune, Ea Sup district, Dak Lak province, in collaboration with Ea H’leo Border Post of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command, held an admission ceremony of members to the Youth Union on March 20 at border marker 41 for 50 outstanding teenagers.

At the event

All 50 new Youth Union members were outstanding teenagers who have obtained high achievements in studying and carrying out local movements.

During the event, the participants conducted flag saluting and were briefed on the history of the border marker and the outcomes of the demarcation and marker planting along Vietnam - Cambodia borderline.

In addition, troops and Youth Union members offered incense and laid wreath at Ea H’leo Border Post’s stele house in commemoration of fallen soldiers.

The ceremony was part of the activities to mark the 91st founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - 2022) and welcome the Youth Union congresses at all levels, toward the 12th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the 2022-2027 tenure.

The event was also to raise young generation’s awareness of national construction and defense cause and protection of national sovereignty and security in border areas.
