 During the seminar

Jointly organized by the National University, Hanoi, and the Vietnam Military History Institute under the Ministry of National Defense, the event attracted the participation of military and civilian scientists across the country and scholars from universities.

Fifty three reports from 60 scientists focused on three main themes: General Nguyen Chi Thanh’s thought of war and peace and the “Dare to fight and be determined to fight US invaders” spirit; General Nguyen Chi Thanh’s great contribution to national independence as an ideologist and a leader of Vietnam's revolution; General Nguyen Chi Thanh’s style. All of the reports demonstrated that General Nguyen Chi Thanh was an indomitable and loyal communist, a talented and creditable leader of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Vietnam's revolution, an excellent strategic adviser and commander of the Vietnam People's Army, and an eminent son of Thua Thien - Hue province.

The delegates affirmed that the outcomes of the seminar would be used for educating troops, students, and locals to promote the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People’s Army, strengthen defense strength, and firmly build and safeguard socialism in Vietnam.

Before the seminar, the organizers and delegates offered incense in commemoration of General Nguyen Chi Thanh and visited a space showcasing photos and documents on his life and revolutionary career.
