Delegates at the gathering

At the event, delegates recalled the unit's heroic traditions over the past 65 years of construction and development. The division took part in major campaigns of the anti-French war, especially the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

During the anti-American war, the unit collaborated with locals in the Northwestern region to defeat US bombing of the area and to fulfill international obligations in Laos.

In peacetime, they continued their traditions to build a comprehensively strong unit. They became the main force in the Military Zone 2 station area, contributing to undertaking all assigned missions.
