Huge bomb deactivated in Dak Lak province
PANO - Military engineers of the Dak Lak provincial Military Command and Cu M’gar district Military Command safely handled a huge bomb left behind from the war in Ea M’nang commune, Cu M’gar district.
The bomb, more than 300kg in weight, 1,4m in length and 400mm in diameter, dropped by the US, was found by workers while leveling the ground at a quarry in Ea M'nang commune.
Having received the news, the district Military Command reported to the provincial Military Command to send military engineers to the scene.
On October 11, the team successfully deactivated the bomb.
