During the working session, both sides discussed contents related to the support for leasing land to build houses for Team K51 in Chrey Senvillage, Monorom ward, to create more favorable conditions for them in implementing the tasks of search, collection, and repatriation of the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors in the 2024-2025 dry season and the following years.

For her part, Deputy Provincial Governor and Deputy Head of the Specialized Committee of Mondulkiri province Vin Sithuon required Dak Lak province to invest in building solid structures, ensuring long-term efficiency, in accordance with the host country’s culture and traditions. The two sides agreed on the policy and would ask Military Region 5 and the Dak Lak provincial Party Committee for opinions to promptly resolve difficulties and create most favorable conditions for Team K51 to soon build their accommodation to successfully carry out their duties.

On the occasion, the Dak Lak provincial Steering Committee 515 handed over 13,000 USD (in 2024) to the Specialized Committee of Mondulkiri province to support them in the coordination in searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who laid down their lives during wartime in Cambodia.

For localities in Srae Khtum commune (Kaev Seima district) and Pou Lung village (Romonea ward, Senmororum city) in Mondulkiri province, Dak Lak province’s Steering Committee 515 presented 300 gifts to local people, conducted dissemination activities among local authorities and people on the duties of Team K51 in the search and collection of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors in Cambodia in the 2024-2025 dry season.

According to H’Yim Kđoh, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak provincial People’s Committee and head of the provincial Steering Committee 515, currently, there are still about 150 fallen Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors whose remains have not been found in Mondulkiri province. Therefore, the committee has heightened its determination to perform the duties, as well as promoted policies for those who provide accurate information related to fallen Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors in Cambodia.
