Army Corps 3 holds memorial service for fallen soldier
PANO – A memorial and burial service for remains of a martyr was held on December 21 at the War Cemetery of Gia Lai province in Pleiku city, Gia Lai province.

The event was jointly held by Army Corps 3’s team in charge of searching and collecting remains of fallen soldiers and Office for National Contributors under the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs.
The unidentified remains of the martyr and his belongings were found in Reng village, Hoa Phu commune, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province.
According to Colonel Nguyen Van Quyet, head of Army Corps 3’s team for search and collection of martyrs’ remains, this area was identified as the place where Regiment 24A and a number of units of the Central Highlands Front fought in the resistance war against the American imperialists for national salvation.
After the memorial service, the remains of the martyr was reburied in the War Cemetery of Gia Lai province.
