Whole military to boost COVID-19 prevention and control measures
PANO – Amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, especially during the 2021 Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, the Ministry of National Defense (MND) issued Directive No. 42 / CT-BQP on strengthening COVID-19 prevention and control measures in the current context.
The MND leaders requested units throughout the military to continue embracing the directives of the Secretariat, Government, Prime Minister, and National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, especially Directive No. 05 / CT-TTg of the Prime Minister, and instructions of the Ministry of Health and MND.
The whole military has boosted dissemination of information about COVID-19 as well as the disease prevention and control measures, especially the implementation of 5K regulations (in Vietnamese) Khau trang (facemask) - (Khu khuan) disinfection - (Khoang cach) distance - (Khong tu tap) no gathering - (Khai bao y te) health declaration.
Military units stationed in pandemic-hit areas should closely work with local medical organizations to trace suspected cases of COVID-19 and strictly manage soldiers going in and out of barracks.
