Vinh Phuc troops help local people surmount flood consequences
PANO – The Vinh Phuc provincial Military Command on May 24 required its affiliated units and agencies to continue mobilizing forces and vehicles to support local people in handling flood consequences.
In detail, the Military Command of Lap Thach district mobilized officers, soldiers, and militiamen to help the locals in Son Dong commune, Lap Thach district harvest rice in flooded and fallen paddy fields.
In Cam Trach village, Dao Tu commune, Tam Duong district, due to the prolonged and heavy rain, Cam Trach bridge has been severely damaged, threatening the lives of local people.
Knowing the situation, relevant forces of Tam Duong district's Military Command and the Border Guard Training Center rushed to the scene and promptly found effective solutions to the problem.
In Tam Dao district, troops tried their best to evacuate flood-hit residents to safer places.
