Troops help flood-hit people
PANO – On May 10, Kim Son commune of Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province witnessed heavy and prolonged rains.
Torrential rains raised the level of water in the Thao River, causing flooding in some localities of Kim Son commune, including Dong Rang village.

Facing the situation, nearly 100 officers and soldiers from Battalion 7, Regiment 18, Division 325 under Military Region 2 on duty in the commune rushed to flood-hit areas to evacuate local people and property to safer places.
Thanks to the timely support, there was no human loss. Meanwhile, the troops effectively conducted mobilization activities to encourage residents to overcome their difficulties, contributing to ensuring political stability and security in the area.
These practical and meaningful activities left a good impression on local people, beautifying the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the people’s hearts.
