Immediately, the unit deployed 35 troops with hand-held tools to rush to the scene to team up with the local firefighters to stamp out the blaze.

Despite bad weather conditions, the joint force tried their best to get the fire under control by 4:45 that same day.

Colonel Nguyen The Du, the battalion's Commander, said that the unit had quickly mobilized its troops to create anti-burning lanes to prevent the fire from spreading, and cooperated with local firefighters to reduce damage.

The cause of the fire is now being investigated.
