Troops help extinguish fire in Hai Phong
PANO - According to information from the Search and Rescue Department of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, on the afternoon of October 8, a fire broke out at a residential house on Cam Street, Gia Vien Ward, Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong City.
Upon receiving the information, the Ngo Quyen District Military Command mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers from the district’s military agency and militia force to coordinate with the fire fighting and prevention police forces to promptly extinguish the fire.
Earlier, on the night of October 7, a 60 sq.m. factory in Nam Son Ward, Le Chan District, Hai Phong City, also caught fire. The Le Chan District Military Command deployed dozens of officers, soldiers, and local militiamen to work with functional forces to quickly bring the fire under control.
