Troops help A Luoi district contain pandemic
PANO – After COVID-19 infected cases were reported in A Luoi district, the Thua Thien Hue provincial Military Command sent 12 doctors and nurses to assist the district in containing the pandemic right at the end of the year 2021.

On arriving in the district, the medical staff of the provincial Military Command overcame all difficulties and cooperated with the medical forces of the province and the district, military medical staff of Economic-Defense Mission 92 of Military Region 4 to take samples for COVID-19 testing.
According to Non-commissioned Major Ho Thi Thanh Binh, a medical staff of Signal Company 18, 12 reinforced medical personnel of the provincial military command were divided into four teams to assist the local medical forces in preventing the pandemic from spreading.
Two days after being deployed, the medical staff have provided COVID-19 testing for 2,130 people.
Non-commissioned Major Tran Thanh Tung, a medical staff of the Military Command of Huong Thuy town, shared that in spite of facing numerous difficulties, including language barriers, the team is determined to contain the virus, contributing to protecting the local people’s health.
