To encourage them to overcome difficulties to fulfill assigned missions, a delegation of the Coast Guard Command has visited and presented lunar New Year (Tet) gifts from the mainland people to coast guard troops and other forces performing duties at sea and on islands.

Together with apricot and peach blossoms are Banh Tet (cylinder glutinous rice cake) and Banh Chung (square glutinous rice cake) made by mainland officers and soldiers for their comrades on duty at sea.
