Retired doctors engage in COVID-19 combat
PANO – Military Hospital 7A (Military Region 7), on July 15, organized a send-off ceremony for nearly 100 doctors and nurses, including 17 retired doctors, to join the fight against COVID-19 in Ho Chi Minh City.

With high resolve and patriotism, the experienced medical personnel promised to do their utmost to assist the city’s hospitals in treating COVID-19 patients, contributing to containing the pandemic.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mai, former Head of the Infectious Diseases Department of Military Hospital 7A, said that despite her old age, she would exert her best efforts and overcome all difficulties to help HCM City in the COVID-19 battle.
The volunteers were equipped with medical supplies, necessities, and knowledge about COVID-19 treatment for their missions.
In addition, the hospital committed to taking care of and provided financial support for on-duty medical personnel’s families to help them feel more secure during their work.
