Patient rescued on Bach Long Vi Island
PANO – According to the Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company under Army Corps 18, Ministry of National Defense, the unit has just successfully saved a patient on Bach Long Vi Island (Hai Phong city) with an emergency flight on August 2 in harsh weather conditions.

Reportedly, on the morning of August 1, Army Corps 18 received information about a severe patient suffering from cerebral hemorrhage.
The Northern Vietnam Helicopter Company was immediately tasked with the rescue mission. It then sent an emergency crew using helicopter VN-8621 to fly to the scene.
Thank to close coordination between the company and Cat Bi Airport, and relevant units, the patient was taken safely to Hai Phong-based Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital for further treatment.
