Patient flown to mainland by helicopter
PANO – Helicopter of the Southern Vietnam Helicopter Company under the Vietnam Helicopter Corporation (Army Corp 18), on July 16 successfully flew two patients to the mainland for treatment.
Earlier, the patients Le Van Tinh and Pham Thanh Bang from Phu Quy island, Binh Thuan province, were taken to Thuyen Chai Island infirmary after being injured while fishing at sea.

The patients were in critical conditions due to serious injuries, immediately, doctors from the Thuyen Chai Island infirmary decided to transfer them to the mainland for further treatment after giving them first aid.
After receiving the information, the helicopter with doctors from Military Hospital 175 on board was sent to the island to fly the patients ashore for treatment.
Despite bad weather condition, the flight successfully flew the patients to the Military 175 and they were then given timely treatment.
