Helicopter carries patient ashore for treatment
PANO – On November 17 Helicopter Mi171-SAR02 of Regiment 917 of Air Force Division 370 flew a patient, Le Van Hai, from Sinh Ton Island, to the mainland for treatment.
Earlier, the patient from Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province, was taken to Sinh Ton Island infirmary in a serious condition.
Receiving the instructions from the Ministry of National Defense and Air Force Air Defense Service, Air Force Division 370 sent the helicopter to fly the patient ashore for treatment.
According to the rescue team, the patient exhibited signs that he may have had a stroke as the left side of his body was weak.
