With the joint effort of troops, authorities, sponsors, and other units, the dormitory was completed in just two months and can be put into use before the 2024-2025 academic year.

Renovated from a degraded school, the dormitory has five rooms, each is equipped with 4-5 bunk beds, wardrobes, desks, and fans. Besides, there are indoor restrooms, gas stoves, and water purifiers to ensure hygiene.

The dormitory will accommodate approximately 40 secondary school students from ethnic minorities whose families are dozens of kilometers away from the center of Tam Quang commune, separated by dense forest.

At the ceremony, sponsors and philanthropists presented the dorm students with cash, necessities, and school supplies, worth nearly VND 350 million. In addition, they also donated medical equipment, devices, and medicines to Tam Quang Border Post’s 'Border medicine cabinet' model.

Also at the ceremony, HMG Investment Development and Service Co., Ltd. inaugurated and handed over three drilled wells at the following locations: the dormitory, Tam Lien village, and Bai So village.
