PANO – On October 24, in Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province, the Naval Region 4 Command handed over fisherman Nguyen Phu Quoc (44 years old, Quang Ngai province) to his family.

Previously, on October 12, while working onboard trawler QNg 95267 TS in the waters of Tien Nu Island (Tennent Reef), Quoc experienced a critical stomachache. He was then given first aid.
On the following day, the patient was hospitalized at Sinh Ton Island Infirmary (Truong Sa district, Khanh Hoa province) for emergency treatment, as the patient's health condition worsened with symptoms of acute cholecystitis, pleural effusion, and some other injuries.
After being taken care of by island doctors, the patient’s health gradually stabilized.
On October 21, Ship 412 of the Naval Region 4 Command received the patient and took him to shore. Currently, Nguyen Phu Quoc's health is temporarily stable and he is being treated at a hospital and taken care of by his family.
