Accordingly, at 4:30 p.m. on the same day, the trawler sank while operating in an area about 10 nautical miles west of the Ong Doc River. There were 5 crew-members on board at that time.
After receiving the information, Song Doc Border Post’s troops reported to the provincial border guard command, while mobilizing three other trawlers operating near the scene to support them in searching for the victims. They were then brought onshore safely, and their health is stable now.
Currently, the troops are taking care of them while searching for the sunken trawler.
