MTA presents gifts to disadvantaged children

It was an activity in response to Action Month for Children 2023 at the academy.

During the visit, Senior Colonel Bui Son Nam inquired after and handed over gifts to children with fatal diseases and orphans who are children of the MTA’s female officers. These gifts were seen as great encouragement for the children to overcome their illnesses, easing difficulties with their families.

According to Colonel Nam, children are physically and intellectually immature individuals and need protecting and taking care of in all aspects, including health, studying, entertainment, among others.

He added that it was a meaningful and practical activity, contributing to building a safe, friendly, and healthy living environment for children.

During the Action Month for Children 2023, the MTA granted 10 gifts, worth VND 1 million each, to children with fatal diseases, and orphans who are children of servicewomen of the academy.

The activity contributed to raising awareness of families, the community and the whole society of the protection, care and education for children, especially disadvantaged children, children with fatal diseases, and orphans.
