More support for COVID-19 front-line forces
PANO – Amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic across the country, many activities were held on August 14 to assist front-line forces in the pandemic prevention and control.
A delegation from the Binh Duong provincial Military Command, led by its Political Commissar Senior Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan, visited the Military Institute of Preventive Medicine and the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center to encourage the doctors and medical staff who are conducting COVID-19 testing in the province.

Earlier, the unit also presented 198 gifts to the provincial armed forces in charge of combating the disease in the province.
* Ba Ria city’s Military Command in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province also received gifts from students of secondary and high schools in the area.

The gifts, totally worth VND 22 million, included instant noodle, cooking oil, fish sauce, medical masks. Ba Ria city’s Military Command will hand over the gifts to COVID-19 hit people in the soonest time.
* A delegation of Division 5 (Military Region 7) visited and offered gifts to troops and medical staff of the unit in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in Duc Hoa district, Long An province.

Over the past 20 days, the unit has sent four teams to support vaccination work and give first aid to COVID-19 patients. Their meaningful activities have left good impression on the local people, contributing to beautifying the images of Uncle Ho’s soldiers.
