More assistance for beneficiaries and needy people
PANO – More than 300 beneficiaries, national contributors and needy people in Ba Trinh commune, Soc Trang province’s Ke Sach district had their health checked by medical staff from Soc Trang provincial Military-Civilian Hospital on January 18.
The delegation also provided free medicines, equipped locals with methods to prevent and treat some common and seasonal diseases and visited and presented gifts to local beneficiaries and needy people.

According to Colonel, Doctor Huynh Huu Tri, the hospital’s director, this is a regular social activity of the hospital to pay gratitude to beneficiaries and those with great contributions to the revolution in the past as well as to improve health and living standard of locals. Since 2017, the hospital has provided free health check-ups, gifts and medicines to more than 2,000 people.
The same day, the General Department of Logistics handed over a house to martyr Mai Van Hien’s mother, Nguyen Thi Ba, in Tam Long village, Tri Binh commune, Chau Thanh district of Southern province of Tay Ninh. Hien sacrificed himself in the resistance war against US imperialists.
The 70sq.m house was constructed with financial support from the general department.
At the event, companies under the General Department of Logistics and local authorities presented gifts to ensure Mrs. Ba have a convenient life.
