On the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, Gen. Chien extended the best wishes to generations of instructors and educational managers of the academy.
Regarding the missions in the time to come, the deputy defense minister required the academy to continue to strictly grasp the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, as well as the resolutions of the Central Military Commission on the innovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of the task of building the border guard force in the new situation.
Meanwhile, the academy should pay attention to building a contingent of high-quality instructors and educational managers with firm political stance, good morality, a clean and healthy lifestyle, and good expertise.

* On the same day, Deputy Chief of the General Staff Sr. Lt. Gen. Phung Si Tan visited and congratulated the Army Officer Candidate School No.1 on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day.
Given the requirement of continuous innovation in education and training, particularly the task of building the military in the new situation, Gen. Tan required the school to raise the quality of education and training; focus on training and practice; and effectively implement the motto “The training quality of the school is its combat readiness competence,” among others.
