During the event, children enjoyed attractive artistic performances, skillful lion dance, folk games, etc., while receiving gifts, including biscuits, candies and star-shaped lanterns, among others.

On the occasion, the organizing panel handed over 500 Mid-Autumn gifts to needy children. The gifts were sponsored by the Vietnam Plastics Association and benefactors from Ho Chi Minh City.

The program was seen as a practical activity to bring a happy Mid-Autumn festival to disadvantaged children in Tuy Duc district’s border areas, thereby encouraging them to overcome their difficulties and study hard to achieve high results in the new academic year.

* Earlier on September 26, the Thua Thien Hue provincial Border Guard Command and other units and individuals organized a Mid-Autumn program for children in the locality.

At the event, the organizing panel offered more than 350 Mid-Autumn gifts and 42 gifts under the program “Paving the way to school for children” to needy children, children with disabilities, and dioxin-affected children in Dong Son commune.
