Military units join hands with people in the COVID-19 fight
PANO – A delegation of Regiment 3 of Division 324 of Military Region 4, led by its Deputy Commander Lieutenant Colonel Bach Cong Hoan visited and offered gifts to staff and people on duty in quarantine areas in Tho Thang commune, Tho Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province on July 20.
Reportedly, Tho Thang Commune’s authorities have received 56 workers returning from international and domestic places. The regiment provided 500kg of vegetables and 15kg of poultry meat for people in quarantine areas.
In addition, the unit sent 10 troops to collaborate with youth union members of Tho Xuan district to prepare packages of essentials for pandemic-hit residents in southern localities.

* The same day, Brigade 125 sent 20 troops and three vehicles to transport food to assist forces working in COVID-19 prevention and control in Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City.
The mission is to promptly provide food and essentials, donated by people nationwide, for the pandemic-hit residents in the city.
Troops of Regiment 125 seriously followed the pandemic’s preventive regulations and rules of mass mobilization while undertaking their missions. They are tasked with transporting food and necessities to places in Thu Duc City before delivering them. They also allocate docking positions for ships transporting relief goods from localities nationwide.
