Gifts presented to poor households during the program

Particularly, the units carried out a series of activities, including providing financial support to build two classrooms, handing over a reading room to the mosque of the Cham ethnic people in Binh Son commune, building five gratitude houses for needy households, presenting health insurance cards to local people, planting new green trees, granting 20 scholarships and 15 bicycles to disadvantaged students, and more.

After the launching ceremony, troops from Long Thanh district Military Command, the district police force, and other relevant units, together with Missile Regiment 93 of Division 367 under the Air Defense - Air Force Service, Brigade 96 under the Artillery Corps, and local people, cleaned up the surroundings and planted trees.

According to Nguyen Thuy Linh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Long Thanh district Party Committee, these activities aimed to ensure spiritual and material life for local people and strengthen the great unity bloc, contributing to building enhanced new-style rural areas.

They were also part of activities to celebrate the 47th anniversary of Long Thanh district’s Liberation Day (April 28, 1975 - 2022).
