Military school hosts blood donation drive
PANO – The eleventh Red Sunday blood donation campaign was held in Hanoi on January 13 by the Political Officers Training School (Political University), in association with the National Traffic Safety Committee, Military Central Hospital 108, and Tien Phong newspaper.
The event drew the participation of over 2,000 cadres, instructors, cadets, students, and volunteers from agencies, military units, and schools in the capital city.

With their high sense of responsibility, the blood donors donated more than 600 blood units, which will be used for treatment of their comrades and people under treatment at the hospital.
Last year, the Political Officers Training School mobilized local troops, students, and residents to donate 1,300 blood units.
This drive of the Red Sunday program served as the opener for the blood donation movement in 2019 across the country.
