Troops and militiamen dredging irrigation canals 

The participating troops and militiamen helped localities build 15.3km of concrete rural road, cleaned up roads, dredged irrigation canals, repaired 158 houses, constructed 84 houses in a resettlement area, helped local people harvest crops, planted trees and cultivated crops. In addition, troops presented hundreds of breeding cattle and poultry and thousands of avocado, coffee and grapefruit trees to locals, contributing to local hunger elimination and poverty reduction.

MR5’s armed forces also spent billion dongs on providing free health check-ups and medicines, and presented necessities and rice to needy locals, policy beneficiaries and national contributors. They gave school supplies and uniforms to needy students with good academic outcomes.
