Military doctors care for employees in Ho Chi Minh City
PANO – On April 1, doctors of Military Hospital 175 of the Ministry of National Defense conducted free cancer screening tests and health check-ups for cadres and officials in Phu Nhuan and Go Vap wards, Ho Chi Minh City.
These activities were part of a program conducted by the hospital to mark the 70th founding anniversary of the Defense Trade Union, the 90th founding anniversary of Vietnam’s Trade Union, and the 88th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
It also aimed to improve the health quality of officials in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to consolidating relations between military doctors and locals.

Accordingly, the military hospital has planned to provide free health checkups, medicines and medical counseling to all members of the Trade Union chapters, Youth Union chapters, Women’s Union chapters and agencies in several districts of Ho Chi Minh City.
Furthermore, the hospital covers much of the costs of hi-tech and expertise-extensive tests, such as ultrasound examinations and screening tests for cancers (especially thyroid cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer (for women)). Since the program was launched last month, it has benefited 150 people.
