PANO – A delegation of the Quang Tri provincial Military Command paid a visit and offered Tet (lunar New Year) gifts to troops on duties of preventing COVID-19 in the border areas of Huong Hoa and Dakrong districts on January 29.
Due to the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the risk of foreigners and Vietnamese expats in Laos and cross-border illegally entering Vietnam is pretty high. Moreover, the operation of criminals is also on the rise. Therefore, the province’s military command has sent more troops to reinforce 86 border checkpoints of the provincial border guard command to prevent people from illegally entering the country.
