Addressing the event, Headmaster of Tien Nguyen Ethnic Minority Secondary School Hoang Khuong Duy said that there are five ethnic groups, namely the Dao, Tay, Kinh, H'mong and Nung, living separately in Tien Nguyen commune. The local people depend mainly on agricultural production. Therefore, they still have difficulties in life and low levels of education.

Against this backdrop, the teachers and students at Tien Nguyen Ethnic Boarding Secondary School are trying their best to overcome their difficulties and teach their students. Over the past years, they have achieved encouraging results in teaching local students.

At the meeting, Lo Mui May, a Dao ethnic eighth grader, expressed his gratitude to the sponsors and promised to study hard to become a good citizen in the future.
