In particular, the Political Department of Division 377 held a get-together for nearly 200 delegates who are former leaders and commanding officers of the division, representatives from the division’s affiliated agencies and units, the party committee and local authority, agencies, units and schools inside and outside the military, and families of troops and others.

Speaking at the meeting, Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Duc, Director of the Political Department of Air Defense Division 377, said that the event was a significant and annual activity. It contributed to effectively implementing homefront policies for troops and staff of the department and heightening the responsibility and solidarity among the delegates. It was an occasion for troops and staff to exchange and share experience and tighten solidarity, understanding and mutual support in their task performance.

Reportedly, agencies and units of Division 377 have well implemented education work and information dissemination about the establishment of the Vietnam People’s Army and the whole-people’s defense festive day, among others, via various forms. Meanwhile, the agencies and units carried out a number of activities, including organizing forums, seminars, meeting and talks, a signing ceremony of cooperation agreement, cultural, artistic and sports exchange programs, and more.

According to Ms. Vo Thi My Ni, Principal of Cam Phuc Bac Kindergarten, the visit to military units helped students to have a better understanding of the daily life and activities of soldiers, leaving good impressions in the eyes of teachers and students.

These meaningful activities contributed to upholding the glorious traditions of the military, the service and Division 377, deepening military-civilian solidarity, cultivating national pride and patriotism, and encouraging troops to overcome difficulties to fulfill all assigned missions.
