The center’s staff fixing the trawler’s engine

Earlier, at 01:00 on May 1, while fishing offshore in the traditional fishing grounds near the Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago, Khanh Hoa province, the captain  of trawler QNg 90684 TS found low oil pressure in the engine and the temperature of the main engine was increasing. He immediately contacted the center for help.

After safely docking at Sinh Ton Island’s pier at 09:00 on the same day, the trawler was disinfected.

The center’s staff later arrived and checked the engine, and concluded that the main engine’s cooling system did not work properly due to dirt. They promptly cleaned it and tested it again.

At last, the trawler, owned by Do Van Cong from Quang Ngai province and with 46 fishermen, was fixed and worked properly.
