Ship KN 360 towing trawler ND 92948TS |
Earlier, at 8:40 on January 17, while carrying out missions some 40 nautical miles Northeast of Con Co Island, Quang Tri province, Ship KN 360 received a SOS signal from engine-failure trawler ND 92948TS whose fisherman was having a stomachache.
The trawler, owned by Tran Phuong Duong from Hai Trieu commune, Nam Dinh province’s Hai Hau district, had six fishermen on board.
At 10:15 the same day, Ship KN 360 approached the trawler, gave first aid to the troubled fisherman Nguyen Van Hieu who suffered from lumbar spine pain. The patient was of sound mind later and continued to be cared for by other fishermen.
After giving medicines to the fisherman Hieu, Ship KN 360 safely towed the trawler to Con Co Island for repairs on January 18. All fishermen are now in a stable health condition.
