Injured Quang Nam fisherman rescued in Song Tu Tay Island
PANO - On September 28, the infirmary of Song Tu Tay (Southwest Cay) Island in Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province, received and treated a fisherman from the trawler numbered QNa 90668 TS, who had an accident at sea.
Accordingly, at around 5 p.m. on September 27, fisherman Nguyen Huu Vinh, 51 years old, from Tam Giang commune, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province, was injured due to a labor accident while fishing 90 nautical miles off Song Tu Tay Island.

The trawler QNa 90668 TS, captained by Luong Toi, 47 years old, from the same locality, brought Vinh to Song Tu Tay Island's infirmary for emergency treatment at 6:45 a.m. on September 28.
Upon receiving the patient, doctors at the infirmary provided first aid, performed X-rays, and carried out emergency surgery.

With online support from specialists of the Military Central Hospital 108, the surgery was successful; the wounds were addressed; and the joint dislocation was realigned.
Currently, patient Vinh’s health condition is stable and he remains under the doctors’ observation.
