Handover ceremony of “great unity houses” to Bru-Van Kieu ethnic people
PANO - On January 23, the Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard Command, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Binh province and the People's Committee of Quang Ninh district, inaugurated and handed over 8 "great unity houses" to families facing extreme hardships in Doc May village, Truong Son commune, Quang Ninh district.
Doc May village is the most remote and challenging village along the border of Quang Binh province. It is home to 26 households with 105 people of the Bru-Van Kieu ethnic group, living under difficult conditions. The Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard Command directed the Lang Mo Border Guard Station to collaborate with local authorities and organizations in Truong Son commune to survey housing conditions in Doc May village and identify families in need.
