During the handover ceremony, Toan thanked Thu Duc city’s Military Command and local authorities for the meaningful support, affirming that it would help his family to stabilize their life. “I will also disseminate information among youths to encourage them to serve in the military in the coming time,” he added.

Addressing the event, Colonel Mai Van Tan, Deputy Political Commissar of Thu Duc city’s Military Command, noted that since the beginning of the year, the unit has handed over five houses to needy troops in the locality, while calling on sponsors to join hands to build gratitude houses, contributing to boosting military-civilian ties and helping people in need to soon stabilize their life.

On the occasion, Thu Duc city’s Military Command and local authorities also offered gifts to Toan’s family.
