In his opening remarks, Major General Tran Hau Hung, Deputy Political Commissar of General Department II, stated that over the past time, the department has actively engaged in numerous activities to strengthen grassroots political systems; organized and implemented hundreds of civil-military medical programs, provided free health check-ups and medicines, and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families and disadvantaged students with excellent academic results in many localities across the country.

These practical activities have left a deep and positive impression among people across the country, contributing to beautifying the image and qualities of “Uncle Ho’s soldiers” in the new era.

During the working trip to Tan Lac commune, the delegation held a series of activities, including providing free health check-ups and medicines for 300 policy beneficiary families, poor households and needy families; handed over 100 gifts to families in difficult conditions, 20 gifts to disadvantaged students with excellent academic results; and organized cultural and artistic exchange programs with local people.

The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some photos of the free medical examination and medicine distribution program.
